Berry Almond Butter Smoothie

With the warm Summer days approaching, here’s a delicious berry almond butter smoothie to fuel your day!

Smoothies are one of my favorite breakfasts. They’re sweet, nutritious, and easy to make One of my favorite smoothies is this berry almond butter smoothie. The sweet banana and tart berries blend perfectly with the almond butter and non-dairy milk to create the creamiest, most delicious smoothie combinations!

Why Almond Butter?

Almond butter is has healthy fats, protein, and fiber, making the smoothie extra creamy and filling. My favorite almond butter is from the brand JEM Organics. They are redefining nut butter with their sprouted, stone-ground almond, hazelnut, and cashew butter. Not only are they super creamy and extremely delicious, but they are crafted in a peanut-free facility too!

For this smoothie, I used their Superberry Almond Butter. It’s sweet, tart notes of the Maqui and Camu Camu berries pair perfectly with the almonds’ rich, nutty flavor. This lusciously smooth and creamy spread is delicious on its own or in sweet recipes — like this Berry Almond Butter Smoothie.

Can I Make a Smoothie Bowl?

Yes, this berry almond butter smoothie tastes delicious as a thick smoothie bowl! To turn the smoothie recipe it into a smoothie bowl, add less almond milk. If you have a high-speed blender like a Vitamix, you might not have to add any non-dairy milk. This will make it extra thick and creamy! And don’t forget to add your favorite toppings (arguably the best part of a smoothie bowl).

Berry Almond Butter Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 1 banana frozen

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1/4 cup non-dairy yogurt

  • 1 Tablespoon JEM Organics Superberry almond butter

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
